The EBR invites you to prove your excellence in radiology. Get the answers to the questions published on the EBR blog during ECR. Free examination seats for the exam at ECR 2019 will be raffled amongst the winners!

Discover the Digital Imaging Adoption Model (DIAM) at ECR 2018

For the first time, DIAM experts will present their achievements at ECR 2018. Staff from the first hospital that fulfilled the requirements of DIAM Stage 6 will share their experiences and the benefits they have received from participating. Visit both, the DIAM Coffee & Talk session and the joint ESR and European Commission session on eHealth including a talk on DIAM to gain insights into this project!

European Training Assessment Programme (ETAP) 2.0

The new ETAP 2.0 is a certificate of excellence for training institutions in radiology. It is a joint initiative of the EBR and the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) radiology section. The new project will be officially launched at ECR 2018!

ESUR Contrast Media Safety Committee guidelines on iodine-based contrast media, multiple myloma and monoclonal gammopathies

The ESUR Contrast Media Safety Committee carried out a systematic review of the incidence of post-contrast acute kidney injury (PC-AKI) in patients with multiple myeloma (MM) and monoclonal gammopathies (MG). Read the systematic review and guidelines here. (Eur Radiol)


MRI in the management of perianal Crohn’s disease

The authors of this article concentrate on the role of MRI in the management of perianal Crohn’s disease. MRI, together with the assessment of the morphological findings of the patient, allows for both quantification of disease severity and evaluation of the response to treatment. Read further here. Multiple sclerosis in children and adolescents: the incorporation of MRI and laboratory features into international diagnostic criteria
