Greetings from the Chairperson of the ESR Board of Directors

Dear ESR Member,

Welcome to the May edition of ESR@Work!
After a successful start into the new working year, ESR activities are now in full swing. We work hard to promote the ESR and ECR around the world, and I would like to invite you to have a look at the most recent pictures and impressions from "ESR on Tour", which are available here.
It goes without saying that strengthening and improving relationships at an international level is one of the top priorities of the ESR.

Prof. Lorenzo Derchi
Chairperson of the ESR Board of Directors

New ESR Executive Council Member

The ESR is happy to welcome Prof. Alexandre Krainik as a new member of the Executive Council.

Prof. Krainik has recently been appointed as Chairperson of the ESR Subspecialties and Allied Sciences Committee succeeding Prof. Afshin Gangi, who had stepped back from this position.

The full composition of the ESR Executive Council is available here.

They were developed by the UEMS Division of Neuroradiology, with the support of the UEMS Section of Radiology, and in cooperation with the Division of Interventional Radiology, ESNREBNR and ESMINT.
They provide the basis for the development of a harmonised, comprehensive European INR training programme.

European Training Assessment Programme 2.0

ETAP 2.0, a virtual assessment platform managed by the EBR and the UEMS, enables training departments to certify their performance in a quick, easy and cost-efficient way.
Its entire assessment process can now be conveniently conducted online, enabling a swift, efficient and objective certification process, which will ensure that your training department is fully compliant with ESR standards.

Read a report here by the Basel University Hospital about their experience with ETAP 2.0.
